About the Responsible Y2K Forum

This discussion forum is for responsible y2k discussion. Anyone is welcome to participate, but I am seeking Computer Professionals to add to the contents here. The Y2k issue has become VERY polarized, and many non-technical persons are becoming confused. There is a very wide range of speculation about y2k impacts, from "zero" to the collapse of modern society. I would prefer the subjects of this message board address neither extreme but stick to known facts and technical data.

How this System Works

This bboard software was written by Philip Greenspun and hosted for free by him started in 1995. Anyone could come in and create a forum and moderate the discussion. Most of the thousands of forums on this server were and are publicly searchable by Google and other Web indices.
