Would like to find raw pics from the Coolpix 900greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
Was considering the Oly D500L, now the Nikon Coolpix 900 seems interesting. I just can't wait to see what Nikon's untouched pictures look like. I am looking for a site that I can compare the two. Anyone seen such a place out there yet? Will be taking quite a few indoor shots and quality is very important. Thanks for the help!

Your wish is our command! (Well, not quite, but it happens we've both lucked-out in this case.) Nikon has promised us a '900 to test by the end of next week: We should be able to have the sample images up a week later, a full review up the week after that. Stay tuned to The Imaging Resource!

http://www.moose395.net/digital/cameras.htmlCheck "moose" Peterson's website (above) for some preliminary pictures and his personal opinion of the 900. For those that don't know Moose is a well known Nikon nut but more importantly a well respected nature photographer and author. Unlike most traditional photographers Moose sees the digital revolution in a very positive way. He also writes a column for PC-Photo magazine

Here are some pics take last w/e with my CP-900. Fabulous camera - these pics have had no correction, they are as taken from the camera, but re-sized (obviously) the only one I tweaked was Steve playing guitar (this was v. dark, so I auto-levelled in P-Shop).Regards - William
