I am possibly teaching a sport psycholgoy course in the spring of 99. I haven't had too much interaction in the academic world since I finished graduate school. Just wonder what textbooks are being recommended for an undergraduate class.Email responses to jness@sourcepub.com

You may want to look at one or more of the following texts:Murphy, S. (Ed.) (1995). Sport psychology interventions. Champaign, IL: Human Kinetics. Van Raalte, J.L. & Brewer, B.W. (Eds.) (1996). Exploring sport and exercise psychology. Washington DC: American Psychological Association. Singer, R.N., Murphey, M., & Tennant, L.K. (Eds.) (1993). Handbook of research on sport psychology. New York, NY: Macmillan.
Weinberg, R. & Gould, D. (1995). Foundations of sport and exercise psychology. Champaign, IL: Human Kinetics.
Williams, J.M. (Ed.) (1993). Applied sport psychology: Personal growth to peak performance (2nd Ed.). Mountain View, CA: Mayfield (415) 960-3222.
My personal favorite is Weinberg's and Gould's (1995) text.
Good luck!
