When playing the K2500 ,can the audio pass through the digital(AES) outputs? If so, how? I have not been able to achieve this, and it would be very nice to go directly from the K2500 into my Pro Tools system. Thanks for your help.

Answers

To use the AES/EBU digital outs do the following. Go to the sampling page. Set the sample INPUT to DIGITAL. Choose Coaxial for cable and AES/EBU for Format.

Now, set the sampling INPUT to ANALOG. Set the SRC: to INT Set your desired sampling rate. ...Thats it.

To tell the K2500 which digital format you want to use, you must first set that information on the sampling page while its set to digital. Then when you set it back to analog, you can set the sampling rate and the source.
