I heard that Scott Burke (sp?) might be trying to free climb El Cap this fall? Does anyone know if this is true and when he is planning to try?

Yes, he is trying to free climb the Nose. He has been trying for a few years. He has been up there all summer as far as I know. I did two El Cap routes this summer and he was there on both trips. The last one he and his partners had the full camp going on top of El Cap.
