Bigger Box?

Am I the only person raising a MC that is having trouble with the litter box being too small?

Whenever Lacey is burying her "event" she either steps on it or gets some on her tail! Although I'm all for encouraging creativity, we've got to do something about the "wall painting" that she sometimes creates, to say nothing about her smelling more like a cow than a cat!

Does anyone have a resource for MC sized necessities? (and this goes for her toys as well.....she's embarassed having to make do with dog toys!)

I am on my 3rd litterbox in 5 mos. He is now using a Van Ness jumbo size. (Biggest one available). It is covered. You could try a large plastic container found in the plastic section of Target or Kmart, etc. My MC's poo poo is really stinky, too. Try a wadded up piece of paper. Cheap and fun to play with.

Re. stinky bowel movements - try feeding dry food only (Iams, Eukaneuba, or other premium food). We feed dry food exclusively and have no problems with smelly movements.

Also, we use the large, plastic storage boxes (available from Target, K-Mart, and such). The "finger painting" ends up on the walls of the box instead of the walls of the room :-)

Rope knots made for dogs make great toys for Maine Coons. They can really get their claws into them.

Hope this helps!

My MC stinks my house up so bad and runs after doing it cause Tigger knows it stinks. I keep a dust pan handy since he's such a kicker!!

My 2 MC's also have a problem with litter o their tails and all over the walls. I tried a covered litter box, but the one cat doesn't like the covered box what should I do?
