I am looking for a good CD-ROM of SAX samples- something that exploits VAST and the controllers so that realistic articulations can be performed. Anybody? Also, if you have any comments on BOLDER SOUNDS granular or eclectic CD-ROM's, I'm interested.
Also, I'd like to hear any opinions and comments on the CD-ROM's that you feel are the best or are your favorites.
Here are mine:
Spectrasonics - Bass Legends ( great, still I'd like to find jazz acoustic bass samples from other basses- I'm getting a little tired of this sound.)
Total Stereo Session Drums- Sweetwater
Young Chang Virtual Grand - Sweetwater ( If there is something more expressive as in 4 or 5 strike keymaps, I'd like to hear about it ) Roland Brass Sections/ Translator- Sweetwater ( check out the harmonic rips on the trumpets via the mod wheel! This is a step in the right direction! Pricey but I'll take it. )
My comments are brief. If you want more info, just ask.
Thanks to all, Larry Julien

I don't know of too many great sax samples. There is a pretty good one I think its in Sweetwaters RSI collection...I'll double check. In regards to your comments about Bass Legends, you may want to take a look at Kurzweils new Bass Gallery CD-ROM. 17 Basses including an incredible stereo upright sample. Some of the basses have as many as 90 programs. They definitely make the most of VAST and all kinds of other great slaps, pulls, slides, glissandos and other noise. I've stopped using Bass Legends all together.
Thanks for using the K2500 Zone Forum!!
