Ok, I finally decided to go with the miniDV camcorder with 680K pixels which can give me only 640x480 stills. I also bought the firewire board stuff to get into my PC. Question is has any one done this and can you get me any feed back on how successful you were.

N.B. Before jumping my case about not going with a megapixel camera such as the DC 260, I needed this for golf swing analysis as well as taking still photos and loading them into the PC.
