Ok, here is something interesting. Someone wrote a "fan fiction" sequal. I stopped reading it after chapter 3. I feel that this person had not right to finish the story. James Cameron left the story as he intended it to be left. He left it to our imagination. But, we know that Rose went and lead her life...that is what the pictures represented. Hi Laura,

I've been reading the Absolution story since an email pal told me about it several months ago. It's up to Chapter 24 now and it's really good. It did drag along there for a bit but it's getting exciting now. There's also a site called Before & After that tells stories about what Rose and Jack were doing before they boarded Titanic and what Rose got up to afterwards. Some sites have given alternate endings as well, with storylines such as Rose marrying Cal and being pregnant with his child and she finds out Jack is still alive and runs away to be with him after Cal causes her to miscarriage. Then there's the one where they both survive and list their names as Mr and Mrs Jack Dawson.

The stories are fun to read and can easily while away a few spare hours.

I read only the 24 chapters of the Absolution Sequel, but it's fun. Well written and good story to follow. Of course, you put all these actors from the movie in, so it's like watching a movie sequel. It's all in your imagination...

Absolution is definately getting really exciting now. As Emma said, it drup on for a while, but it is well worth the time spent to read it. She seems to be posting a new chapter each week now, so I would guess chapter 15 will be up next Sunday or Monday.
