"Titanic" movie extra Jude Prestininzi is holding a raffle in early December to raise money to send her two sons to Italy to study. The main prize is a 1957 Chevy plus several pieces of "Titanic" memorabilia. Second and Third prizes are the "Titanic" items. Hi Kathleen,

Funny that you mention Judy, because I happened to learn about her role as an extra way back in December '97, when I was searching for anything Titanic-related, and read her "diary" of the shoot online. It was really interesting, and I ended up emailing her with comments and questions. If I remember right, she said she was the first "dead" woman we see in the water, and was seen at some other parts too.

Hi Bob!! Yes, I came across her website early on in my search for "Titanic" as well. Then met a local "Titanic" enthusiast who has become good friends with Judy; he has shared some of her photos and stories with me, so I've gotten in touch with her as well. Hope to hear more from her after the raffle is over. I understand one of her sons is in the hospital and needs our good thoughts and prayers.

Judy's son is in the hospital with some sort of brain tumor. I think that if we all dropped her a line via e-mail she would feel much better, knowing that so many people care. I did, and she seemed to appreciate it very much. She was very touched to know that I wrote to her telling her she and her family are in my prayers. Just a thought, you don't have to - just thought it would ease the tension, make her feel a little better right now.
