Karen Johnson Contract Grading 1998-99 M.Ed. Extension Partnership

Grade of B - Attend the Blandin Community Leadership Program Retreat and write a summary of the conference and subsequent work of the Morris participants in analyzing the eight dimensions of a healthy community and formulating plans of action. The Blandin Community Leadership Program retreat took place from October 25 through October 30th, 1999 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. We are in the process of doing community research and assessment of Morris, Mn. After submitting our preliminary reports, we will meet again in February for a week-end retreat and finally in May of 1999.

Grade of A - Develop a multi-media project that summarizes the community assessment and goal setting work that is being done by the local Morris participants of the BCLP in defining dimensions of a healthy community as they relate to Morris, Minnesota. The multi-media presentation will be posted to a Web page for BCLP participants, Morris community members and M. Ed. Extension Partnership cohort members to view. This portion of the project will be complete in July or August of 1999.
