Check out the following issues of Climbing magazine for info on Quebec ice climbs:Climbing #148 (1994) Climbing #159 (1996)
This is from the index to route info in climbing magazines compiled by Paul Friberg and myself.
In the 70s I drove up to Malbaie in late January with the intention of doing one of the ice routes. But it was bitterly cold, and we couldn't understand the local "French" dialect spoken there!
Have fun,

Hi Sean(hello everybody)
I'm a Quibicois living across the river from Ottawa, Ontario. If you're still looking for beta about La Malbaie or any other climbing localities in the province of Quibec, give me a shout. I might be able to help.
Bonjour,
Yann
