Don Goldberg is the man to see. Expert work on Minoxes, both submini and 35mm, and all Leicas, old and new. Fair prices, honesty, fast service, factory training. The best.

Mr.Goldberg recently has repaired my Riga camera, I was hesitant at first, I sent him the camera on a monday he had it back on Friday the same week and did an excelent job fixing it at a very fair price. Two thumbs up!!!!

I have a Minox 35ML camera, the shutter went busted two years ago. Recently I flipped throught the pages of Shutterbug, and saw a used Minox 35ML listed at US$300, that is about $450 Canadian. I better get my 35ML fixed. I sent it to Kinderman-Leica for an estimate. The estimate came back, it is parts and labour before tax C$180. Rather pricey !
But I figure that $180 or about US$120 get me another working Minx 35mm camera, and the new shutter solenoid will make the shutter more reliable, it is still a good deal.
The 35ML really has a different style from the "roof top" style Minoxes. And it does has nice feature lacking in GT-E, such as programmed mode and memory lock.
Overall, still a good deal.

Kindermann Inc still repairs Minox cameras ( except 110s ), even though the distributorship for Leica/Minox was transferred to another company since April of 2000
