My standard answer on this one is "probably, but do you want to risk it?" I think that anything that supplies slightly over 6 volts with enough current will work on cameras powered by 4 AA cells. I wouldn't want to be responsible for having you smoke your camera though! Why not just go ahead and buy the real thing from Nikon for the sake of sa
