are orch.rom chips interchangable between K2's and K25's?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Kurzweil Users : One Thread |
Does any one know the answer to this The closest ive come is that it's likely they both address the same chip in differernt ways. This seems highly likely. But bieng a mere person who's only spent 3k on this box Krz does't return my calls....ever.Let alone onthe same day. At least they don't lie about how improrant you call is to them. The lay it right on the line. Actons have always spoken louder than words. Is there some rule I don't know about that says if they're too busy to get back on the day you called that you have to keep calling on the chance that that some one will actually speak to you?I thought that's what vioce mail was supposed to be for. Not a 'do I feel like talking to this cretin' screen.

Well you've reached a Kurzweil employee. The K2500 Zone is run my me, Mike Martin of Kurzweil. Depending on when you called Kurzweil, its likely that most everyone was at the NAMM show. You are also probably not a service center so were not usually good about giving end users this kind of information because of the liability involved.Regardless, yes the ROM boards are the same, the daugherboard is different. If you have any other questions feel free to email me directly.
Have a nice day.
