I changed the board back.greenspun.com : LUSENET : DaVinci's Exile Test : One Thread |
Hey, ya'll -- due to overwhelming demand (plus I personally thought the old board worked better), I've changed back the message board to the old "Q&A" format. As always, you can get here from links on the Exile page. If you're coming from a bookmark, change your bookmark to: http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=DaVinci%27s%20Exile%20Test if you want to follow the "threads" the way everyone else is doing so ... using the Q&A method, with older postings (after 14 days) archived by date/category below.
We found before that the best way to do a quick check on "new messages" on the Q&A board is to simply click on NEW ANSWERS link at the top of the main page. You'll then see questions (aka POSTINGS) with new answers (aka RESPONSES) listed by date, new ones on top.
Questions, anyone? (heehee!)

YAY alright!! I much prefer this way Edi. I didn't realise how much till you changed it back. Everything is so much easier and clearer. Hope it isn't going to be too much work for you though. Thanks for all the effort you put in!! *huggles*Ven

No trouble at ALL, Venus - and man, I'm breathing better too. This is a much easier way to use this sucker!

Now ... if I had a question, would that be a "response" or a "new posting"? *smirk* Okay, no ... really ... That was my question. Well, maybe it was funnier at 6 a.m. AZ standard time.It wasn't until I found you'd changed this back that I felt a HUGE wave of relief. The other board was making me a tad nervous, I guess. All that stuff crammed up at the top of the screen and scrolling one or two lines at a time was a bit enervating.
Thanks again for ALL your hard work, Editrix. Especially as busy as you already are! (That sci fi con sounds TOO cool, sure you don't need an extra assistant?) Anyway, even with Exile becoming a bit quieter in the last year ... this board is a regular checking point for many.
