Is an upgrade in the works for the OS on the PC-88MX? Have been having some funky difficulties with mine--random resets, etc. Have caught a couple other postings on other BBS's asking similar questions. Have also read user reviews on a few sites citing similar problems. Saw only one response from Kurzweil to one saying simply that there isn't a new or upgraded OS out. Talked to a couple of reps. at Sweetwater Sound (didn't get the PC88 there, but now do most of my business w/them). They are quick to report that a few years ago--when my PC88 was built--they had a lot of quality control problems with Kurzweil products (to digress, they had a sad story of several of their own sales rep's buying K2500's for themselves and several arriving DOA). --John Heine johnheine@yahoo.com
