i recently read in an almanac that the first telegraph message included a verse from the Bible (Numbers 23,23).

does anyone know where was it sent from an to whom was it addressed?

Dear Enrique, On May 24, 1844, the first telegraph message was sent from Anne Ellsworth that said "What hath God wrought" and yes it is from Numbers 23:23. Ellen
