Hi there everyone.. or should I say anyone? Have you all forgotten me in the five months or so that I have been away from computers/vp/exile/icq etc? Well, I am currently in India, having travelled all over Thailand by train and the Bay of Bengal by boat. I am crewing for an American couple on their yacht across the Indian Ocean, so far we have made it from Thailand to the Andaman Islands and around Sri Lanka to the west coast of India. It has taken us two and a half months - travel by sail is a slow business! We are off to the Maldives and some spectacular diving early next month.

I have been sending some emails of my travels so far, which generally have people groaning with jealousy, although I am getting to a stage where I need an injection of civilisation and am considering heading off to Australia (or is that a contradiction in terms?).

If anyone would like an update of the latest places I have visited, please let me know by email, as I only managed to get into this noticeboard by complete accident and really don't know if I can manage it again.

I am sometimes on icq in the evenings my time (GMT +5.5) and could really do with some normal people to talk to (is there anyone who could be called normal out there?) I am mostly on my own out here, and could do with some good English (or American/Aussie/kiwi/etc) conversation.

So, please look me up if you still have me on icq, I no longer have a contact list due to my peripatetic use of internet cafe computers, but would love to chat. It seems there is no one in vp these days, as I get in as a mug sometimes.
