hi,i was just wondering if kate winslet wore a wig in titanic,can you help me or tell me how she did do her hair

Kate didn't wear a wig but she did have hair extensions!!! She said that although her hair looked amazingly beautiful on screen...it was a total state offset.

They had to dye it nearly everyday to keep the colour fresh and vibrant,they wrecked her natural curls and had to re-vamp them every morning for 2hrs with heating tongs and she had to wear rollers for night on end.

I love her hair like that and wish mine was the same but it's too thick so I've just got the colour of it.If your hair is fine then it's great to perm it as it'll give it more body.Good luck in getting her hair but consider the trouble you may have in keeping it curly(if it's naturally straight) and dying it every 6 weeks....save your money.....that's what I do.

The best colour for Roses' same colour is Feria by Loreal in Red Ember.
A brilliant recommendation.

A while back someone on this site said that she wore an elaborate set of wigs in some scenes, so I don't know. I think she may have for a scene that they needed to shoot again once the movie had wrapped, because they didn't want to go through that big hair color scenerio again.

I seem to remember that as well. If I remember correctly I think they were reshooting one of the scenes (like you said) and she had to wear a wig because she had already died her hair back to blonde (?) I think that was the reason but I could be wrong:)
