From where can I get a list of property available for repossession? Whom should I contact to buy such a property?

You should normally check your local newspaper's property advert section. They usually carry ads from agents that sell on repossessed property.

I want to know where to get information about repossed houses all over the UK.Thanks

Hi Ebrahim,I notice your email address is the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. So am I right in thinking that you do not require this countrywide information for some hard hitting documentary you are making on the scandal of repossession mortgage shortfall?
Do you merely want the information on where to buy a cut-price property ? If so you must believe that repossessed houses are sold for less than other properties. Is that correct?
If it is correct, then that explains the constant messages to this forum requesting that sort of information. The general public must firmly believe that repossessed properties are sold off cheaply. I wonder why? Yet the lenders constantly assert that it is not the case. Makes you wonder if someone is not telling the truth doesn't it?

He must be looking for a property to do up and rent out at a reduced rent to impoverished tenants. You know - those types of people who have no choice but rent from rich landlords who have dodgy jobs with useless quango's.
