Who is the true author of the letter to the Hebrews?

Answers

St. Paul was considered to be the author in the East in the West it was uncertain until the fourth century. Then both East and West agreed that Paul was the author. The Catholic Church stated in the early 1900 through the Biblical Commission that Paul is the author against Protestant claims of others being the author.
