problems with the page

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Squishy : One Thread

I sometimes get e-mail from people saying that they can't see an entry, or they get an error or a piece of gibberish on their page when they try and access my site.

Are you having these problems, too?

Do you have any problems accessing pamie.com?

I'm using this server on a trial basis, so let me know if I should dump them and find another.

thanks.

I don't know why the forum now has all these pictures and blurbs at the bottom. I'm pretty pissed about it, so I'll see if I can do anything.

You can probably do something by e-mailing the creators/hosts of the site and saying you liked it better before.

I sure did.

In the meantime, I'll be finding a way to make a new bb system, I guess.

Any suggestions?

I once posted a reply that never did show up. Other than that, no problemo. (I use Netscape4 and IE4 on various platforms.)

I'm having the same irritation about the banners and such, Pamie. If you find another good forum, let me know -- I have my garden forum on this site, as well. I like this software because it's fast and no frills, and it doesn't have any damn banner ads -- or at least it didn't when I signed up. This is still better than BeSeen or that other one people use, but geez louise, do we need an anti-Bill Gates infomercial on every page?

It seems that whenever I post a message to the Forum the last few characters are cut off. Let's see if it happens with this post

And, yes, while the count may not be exact, there really are, more or less, that many people on the planet.
