I'm going out now to enjoy the sunset.

Once again we are at that time of year and it never fails to impact me as to what was going on in the North Atlantic 87 years ago tonight. We, as humans, all have problems and curses that we must get through but we get through them because we have the chance to do so. The 1523 people lost this night 87 years ago did not have that luxury. As you retire tonight, have a kind thought for those souls and sleep well, knowing that chances are, when the sun rises on the 15th, so will you and I.

Best Regards to ALL,
Peter

I received a nasty little response to this post through email (subject line says its a response, at least) but it has not appeared on the site. Did anyone else receive this or was it just me?

Yes, Nonnie, there was a posting here that I promptly removed.

I would have left it alone, if the poster had not posted anonymously. (No name + no email address + abusive content = three strikes)
