Sometimes you learn more from failing than having a success.

I guess I have never thought too much about the history of the apple company and all the technology involved in the computer world. It is amazing the time it takes to perfect computer technology.

The overall article proves that many people were determined to build a faster chip. Many people believed in what they were doing. I ask myself do people have this dedication today. I personally think that people dont have the ambition they used to.

These people believed highly in what they were doing and would do anything to accomplish this--even to go without pay.

Farmers are a group of people that are probably the most dedicated group of people I know. They are willing to sacrifice time, family life, and money. Farmers are dedicated to their profession. They know that being timely is very important. Farmers that are not dedicated and timely are no longer in the business. So it was in developing the chip. Some people gave up--others stuck with it.

If people are dedicated and believe in their work, they will do a better job, and be proud of their accomplishments.

In the article, it amazed me as to the amount of money being passed from one company to another. They dont talk thousands, they talk millions. I enjoyed Ivonne Valdes statement, Startups dont have the luxury of time. You have to dedicate yourself 200% to making your dream a reality. When you win, you usually win big. When you lose, you usually lose big.

In talking with a neighbor about determination and success-He said, Being in the right place at the right time can be the difference between winning or loosing.

Just as with the Apple Company and farming --this could apply. Years of bad strategic decisions and poor execution can make a big difference --says Stephanie Dorris.
