Can anyone guide me as to which XLR adpater to purchase for a vx1000. I read up on the beachtek one but also found another sold by elite video. any suggestions . thanks in advance. Louie

I will vouch for the Beachtek adaptor. We use it reguarly for broadcast shoots with stereo mics and the quality is wonderful. Take care to set the camera's internal levels to compliment the adaptors external settings, or some over modulation may occur.

I'll second the beachtek. Just finished shooting a feature with my VX-1000 and the beachtek enabled us with a Sennheiser 416 mike, to get fantastic, clear, quality sound.
