I now have a Linux system up and running. It even does X windows. I installed from the redhat 5.2 distribution in the Macmillan press package I bought at BJ's. Instead of a full court press, I spent bits of time here and there getting it done. I will be describing and probably demonstrating the whole process at the next meeting on Thursday Tuesday evening April 27 at the Linux SIG held at Anudata.

At the following meeting, Tom Hogarth will give a presentation on the Linux file system, focused on the install process.
