Our hats are off to the great people at the Globe And Mail for an excellent Millennium Series. Despite all the 'happy face' propaganda of late coming from our governments and industry, the Feds have financed an Y2K Contingency Planning Office to the tune of $20 million dollars in the hopes of getting us ALL prepared.

Thank you, Prime Minister Chretien and your Cabinet for taking the time to read and follow through on most of my recommendations covered in the 'Year 2000 Contingency Basics' over two years ago.

P.S. I'm retired now and don't need a job.
