I am graduating from college with a b.s. in psychology and have a strong interest in entering a graduate program in sports psychology. I do not have much experience in Kinesiology, but I have been involved in athletics throughout my life even at the college level. I was wondering what experience or credentials would best help me in getting accepted to a sports psychology grad. program? Also, does a person with a psych degree have a better chance of getting accepted to schools at which the program is offered in the psych. department as compared to one where it is offered in a kinesiology department? Basically, Where might I fit best?
