For ordinary printing of pics 4X6 is there really much difference in 1260 vz 640 enhancement??

If so is there really that much difference of 2 million vs 1260 if printing not larger than 4X6...

The difference is crispness-clarity the 640s blur too easily, I've had several 640s with the hope each time that I would be satisfied with them. finally I bought an olympus 340L at 1280 resolution. I am now a happy camper great pictures of people,parties,my garden the house, cars, in short there is a huge difference. When Oly comes out with an upgraded camera as good as this one I'll buy it too.

By the way I have a 722c HP Printer that"s worth it's weight too

If you're never going higher than 4x6, I doubt you'd see much difference between 1280 and 1600 (the 2 megapixel size). OTOH, are you *sure* you're never going to go higher than 4x6...?
