SONY VAIO Digital studio PCV-E518DSgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Editing DV Films : One Thread |
Hi, I am considering picking up this turn key non-linear editing system. I've seen a lot of negative reviews of premier 5.1 , (Although this comes only with Premier LE). Anyone own one of these? Is it worth it?THanks, I want to start editing form my DV camera and this seems like a one stop option.

Not for professional editing. For home use it is great but, for professional not so great. Contact me via email for more information.

I've been using my Sony Digital Studio since 99 and it is still running strong! I've upgraded it with over 200GB and it still chugs away with 256MB ram (max.)! Downside: Can't seem to find any way to sucessfully upgrade it to Win2K. Anyone know how, let me know. This computer is a power house, much better than the current VIAO's available.
