the only ones that are specifically Maine Coon cat rescues are located in the Northeast. Have you visited Maine Coon Breeders and Fanciers web site? Also look in your own local shelters. A great percentage of animals in shelters are purebred. Good luck!!

Hi!

My husband and I adopted an abandoned MC at our local shelter. They had found him all beaten up and covered in scrapes. We've had him for about two months and he is quite the love! We are in New England and we could't believe that we found him there. My suggestion is look around the shelters and give them your name and phone number and if anything comes in that is close to what you want, they can contact you
