I bought an Olympus Stylus Epic in December 1998. It worked really well for the purpose it was bought for. Two weeks ago, I had to put a new lithium battery in. The battery lasted approximately 8 minutes then died. I replaced it with another brand new battery, thinking maybe the previous battery was faulty. Exact same thing happened again.

I called the store I purchased it from (Target) and they won't do anything as I have had it longer than 90 days.

I need a contact number for Olympus as I don't think this is right for a 6 month old camera.

You might want to try someone else at Target, they were very good about replacing a defective Olympus camera for me after about 11 months - similar problem where the camera indicated a dead battery even though the battery was fine. Good luck --Nick--
