I am a previous owner of a Maine Coon (18 years) while I was in California. I have recently moved to Maui, Hi. and would like to find a Maine Coon kitten. Since Hawaii has a quaranteen period of many months, I would like to find a kitten already in the islands. My main concern is that the quarenteen will gravely effect the attitude of the cat if I have to keep him in a formal state quaranteen area while he is a kitten. Furthermore, I would like a young kitten so that he will imprint with me from a young age.
