i am having a hard time combing my MC. it can be easily done when i bathe him, but that's about it. any info would be accepted.

The best (and only) time I comb my MC is when he is almost asleep. Forget trying while they are fully awake or in a playful mood! This is also the time I trim nails. They are just too tired to bother fighting you at this point and it really does work. Give it a try; good luck!
