I am looking for information on the Crowell-Longleaf Lumber Co. RR and Red River & Gulf RR that operated in central LA. I visited the site in 1969 and there were two 4-6-0's, #106 (lettered Red River & Gulf) and #400 and a 2-6-0 #202 and a GE 44 tonner #44, all abandoned in the woods along with a couple of cabooses and flatcars with trees growing up through everything. What ever became of this equipment? Was anything saved?
