I have accepted a position with a company that utilizes digital web cameras for one-on-one communication. Since I have been using a 486, I will need to update to a more powerful unit. What are the minimum requirements to effectively use the camera?

not much. A USB connection might be nice, but you probably can get by with your 486 if you just want to download pics and view em? I suggest a parallel port card reader if you're going to be downloading a fair bit.

If you want to manipulate things in photoshop, a celeron with tons of ram would be nice.
