Sawn Off Angles

How much should i saw off my angles? i know 2" on 3/4" and bigger but how much on the babys?

I divided the useable length of the angle piton into 1/3rds and then sawed off the bottom 1/3 using a metal hacksaw. I filed off the sharp edges with a grinder, but you could do it with a file also. This shorter length works well for me.

I normally cut off 40% leaving 60%. I also have one each "semi-sawed-offs" in the 1/2" and 5/8" size that come in handy from time to time.
