One of the things that I dislike on the Coolpix 950 is the tripod mounting position. Whenever I place the camera on a tripod, it rocks forward toword the mounting hole and seems like there is no contact at the bottom of the camera, except for the area around the mounting hole. I have tried this with several Coolpix 950 and they all do the same, so it is not an unusual problem. I wonder if anybody has a fix for this. Nikon made a adapter for their F3 because of the position of the tripod mounting hole, but as of yet I don't know and for the Coolpix. Sure would appreciate any suggestions....Thanks
