Minidisc for recording sound?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Shooting DV Films : One Thread |
Has anyone used or thought of using a minidisc recorder with a mic attached to record audio instead of a DAT or going through the camera?

Some friends of mine just shot a 16mm short using a pocket sized minidisc recorder for their audio. They clapped at the head and tail of each take to monitor proper sync in post. They really liked the process overall. Write me if you're interested in contacting them.John Brune http://www.geocities.com/~steadicamjr
