I seem to have more in common with you guys than with some of the other forum groups. Food, check. RPGs... don't play them, but know lots who do. I have a lot of Games Workshop stuff, though I've never played. I play tons of videogame RPGs, though. Playstation, SuperNes, Saturn. I can converse on many diverse topics, if given an inch. Bew

Hmmm...you're right, it *is* duck season! ::pushes the end of Fudd's barrel to point at Richard, and DUCKS::

*Ducking*

Luckily, I am faster than a speeding bullet, more glib than a speeding politician, and cuter than a speed-driven actor.

Humbly,

::looks around in amazement at all the cowering people next to her:: Whaddaya know...I was right. It IS duck season! ::wanders off in search of... a SHRUBBERY!!!::

-- Karen O. (lisl_1@yahoo.com), September 15, 1999.

And for whom do you seek this shrubbery?

And what is your favorite colour?

-- Richard A. Randall (rrandall@iname.com), September 20, 1999.

"Oooooo, Knights of N--- O, Knights of... O, Knights FORMERLY of Ni, we present to you this shrubbery!"

My favorite color is BLUE. (No indecisiveness here.)

And...what is the average flight velocity of a fully-laden swallow?

-- Karen O. (lisl_1@yahoo.com), September 21, 1999.

An African or a European swallow?

-- KT Hicks (kt_hicks@yahoo.com), September 21, 1999.

"What? I don't know tha--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

(Interlude: Karen plunges over the side of the cliff, headed for Certain Doom. "Someone caaaaaatch meeeeeeeeeee!" she cries. Luckily, a nice gentleman dressed all in black and wearing a mask happens to be climbing up these *very* cliffs, using only his bare hands. He reaches out and snags her belt on the way past. "As you wish.")

(dear god, we've switched movies again... oh well, I'm as GIGO for this one as for the ones prior)

::leans down over the side of the cliff::

"I'da be happy to help you, but I dunno thinka you woulda accepta my help, since I am only waiting around to kill you."

this bad accent brought to you by Chef Boyardee, making Americanized Italian food even worse!

-- KT Hicks (kt_hicks@yahoo.com), September 21, 1999.

(I thought Inigo was a Spaniard? And what's GIGO? Goodness, I think we're racing poor Liz's guestbook....)

"Well, that does present a difficulty, doesn't it?"

-- Karen O. (lisl_1@yahoo.com), September 21, 1999.

[Inigo is a Spaniard... but the closest I could get to typing his accent looked more Italian to me... GIGO means Garbage In, Garbage Out, something that happens in this group all the time... I mean, serious, I could type in any Star Wars, Monty Python, Princess Bride, or AD&D reference, and within a week, one of you would type in the correct response. Also refered to as the Aglaia syndrom - every time we pulled her hat off, she screamed and covered her head... stimulus, response... every single time...]

I coulda give you my word as a Spaniard?

-- KT Hicks (kt_hicks@yahoo.com), September 21, 1999.

(got it...laugh)

::shakes her head:: "Nope, that won't do. I've known too many Spaniards."
