Can anyone provide more info. on this digicam? I'm about 2 days from my purchase and would like to be able to consider this one before buying.

It's about $1300 list,true SLR, 2.5 megapixel, unusually big CCD (2/3"), great (& fast) lens, 3x zoom, best external flash integration of any proconsumer cam to date, tons of manual control, lens accessories, takes both SM and CF. Not a small or cheap camera, but takes some of the best pics especially for people using external flash a lot. It's already selling well in Japan, I was stunned to see it in the middle of the top 10 since it costs so much and doesn't seem like a mainstream consumer cam at all.

If that's too much money you could get a fuji2900z, recently released. Also takes external flash, looks like a great cam.
