Would like to hear what people think of the yates adjustable daisy's. Say your juggin and your top jug pops, you going to feel safe fallin a couple feet onto your other? Also hear they don't last to long.

I borrowed a pair for a few pitches. The adjustable feature is really nice and saves energy when you step up. But, there's twice as much webbing to keep in order, and the cams are glad to eat twisted belts. Once I got used to keeping things tidy with them, I found them pretty cool both on lead and jugging. They seem bomber, and using them imposes a minor difference in climbing technique. It would be interesting to hear from someone who has used them for longer.

I use one adj. and one regular daisy. I lead with my adj. and a quickdraw on my belay loop. My other daisy is just clipped out of my way. I use my adj. to test then to climb up on the piece then when the piece gets to waist height I clip in with the draw and undue the adj. Then I place the next piece clip in with the adj. test then go. I also only climb with one set of ladders also the system is fast and has no knots! The benift to having only one set of ladders and having the adj. is that both your feet are in your bottom piece while you are testing so if it pulls you aren't so off balance. If you are confuse I will e-mail you a drawing of the system. Also I would just use the adj. daisy on your bottom jugs not the top they wear out quicker if you jug on them...

Try the metolius ones... there easier on the webbing and have a lower profile... lighter too. TRavis
