Looking for information relating to HILL. The first HILL I know anything about is JOHN HILL who was married to Mary Yeats(Yates). Their son JULIUS HILL was born in Stanly Co, NC and later moved to Anson Co. Julius was born 10 Jan 1802 and died 18 Oct 1876. He married Margaret "Peggy" Harward, born 15 Jan 1809, died 29 Sept 1886, d/o Myrick Harward and Milea Yeats. This Hill line is also connected to the above families. Any information about any of these families will be appreciated.

Looking for information on William Matthew Hill (March 01, 1854- November 28, 1905) married Sarah Jane Hooks. Children include: Julius Bennett Hill, Cora Pearl Hill, Jeanie Hill, Mattie Allman Hill, Elizabeth Hill, Lottie Lemmonds Hill, and James William Hill.

William Matthew Hill lived in Aquadale, North Carolina. He owned a grist mill on the river in Stanley County, North Carolina. Moved to Roberta Church area (Harrisburg, North Carolina) with Julius Bennet Hill, his son. William Metthew Hill was hit and killed by a train while walking to town.
