Isham TOLBERT had five children listed in the 1850 census. John was one of those five children. I beleive that John was my GG-Grandfather (1831, Montgomery Co later to become Stanly in 1847, died: 1910, Caldwell Co., NC). John moved to Caldwell County, NC in 1853 where he married Caroline Elizabeth WHITE a daughter from the WHITE's of Caldwell County of long standing.
