I am looking at getting lighting equipment. Could you please share with me your tools of the trade and maybe some leads on some good equipment. Perf. 400tw range.

The equipment I use most often on everything from 35mm to 4x5 is a Norman 200C battery portable unit. There is a full range of reflectors available to suit just about any requirement. It recycles in about a second and a half at full power and gives me about 200 full power flashes per charge. I also have a Norman 800 4 light portrait outfit for larger setups and studio work.
