I have a problem with my new Epson PhotoPC 850Z (other than this little problem i LOVE this camera). There seems to be a "stuck on" pixel (like you get in a laptop screen). It's always in the EXACT same spot, so I'm sure it's a fault of the camera. My question is, is it worth it to send it back to Epson to get a replacement, or are stuck on pixels a pretty fairly common problem with consumer grade cameras... I mean, out of 2+ million pixels, one stuck on is not a huge deal, but the camera was $700, but if I send this back, and I have to go through three cameras to get one with no stuck pixels, then I'm not sure it it's that big of a deal.

Thoughts?

Since I have a Nikon CP90, I can tell you what their policy is. I don't know about Epson. Nikon will repair/replace a camera that has even a single bad pixel in the CCD, if it shows up in normal lighting conditions. All CCD's will have a few bad pixels that show up under extremely low light, long exposures. They will not fix one with that condition. I would contact Epson and ask them about their policy.
