Has anyone used the Olypus 2000Z or Fuji 2900 with wide angle adapter / if so doas the flash and auto focus work properly with the adapter and are ther any drawback apart from extra distortion. The dealers dont seem have clear answers on this in the UK . I have recently brought a Nikon 800 which is a great camera but it doas not seem to work well with the nikon wa adapter. PS anyone want to buy my new 800 with all the bits!

I use both .7x and .5x wide-angle adapters with a C2000Z. Autofocus works fine. I can't comment on flash because I don't use it with these lenses.

Vignetting and barrel distortion is present with both lenses. I use zoom to whatever degree necessary to relieve most of the vignetting if needed for a particular shot. I use PanoramaTools (http://www.fh- furtwangen.de/~dersch/) to correct barrel distortions, which happens to take care of small amounts of corner vignetting as well.
