I was truly disappointed that most of the listings for breeders include the cattery name, breeders' names, and usually nothing else. Okay, a few include email addresses. How do they expect interested parties to reach them? Why would a breeder pass up this ideal opportunity to get a little extra advetising?

Perhaps I misunderstand the function of the MCBFA web site. Are there other, more commonly used routes for contacting breeders?

I think you are being a little hard on some of the breeders! Afterall, would you advertise YOUR home address and telephone number on a website....particularly if you were a woman?!! I think you WILL find a lot more info if you go to another site.....how about trying www.tica.org/maine.htm There are LOTS of MC breeder websites there and I am sure you will find a breeder you can contact.
