Has anyone got the USB to work, Recognizes on desktop but unable to copy or open/Mac w OS 8.6/PCI card and Apple USB extensions 1.3.5

Message when trying to open ( could not open because JPEG marker segment length is too short (file may be trunicated or incomplete))
